17 is personal.
It is the day I was born — a date that has always been a part of my identity. Over time, 17 became more than just a number; it came to represent identity, beginnings, and something worth remembering.
So when I decided to build my first brand, I knew I didn’t want an ordinary name that could be easily forgotten.
I wanted a name with a story behind it.
A name that meant something to me.
17 became the beginning.
BLENDS became the journey.
And because this brand is deeply personal to me, I wanted it to have its own beginning on the same date that started mine.
17 September — the day I was born, and now, the day 17BLENDS is born.
And that’s how 17BLENDS came to life.
THE PERSON BEHIND 17BLENDS
HI, I’M HARNEET KAUR.
17BLENDS started with a personal obsession.
I was the person drinking tea again and again throughout the day — seven cups wasn’t unusual. Tea was comfort, energy and routine all at once.
But over time, I began noticing that my everyday tea ritual didn’t always make me feel the way I wanted it to. Especially during the warmer months, a hot cup of traditional tea wasn’t always what I was looking for. And although it gave me that familiar boost, I would sometimes feel my energy dip again after being active for a while.
It made me wonder:
“Can something I love become something better?”
Then, one day, I went out with my friends and was introduced to matcha — just as it was beginning to make its way into Punjab.
I remember my first sip.
It was different.
Different in taste. Different in experience. And somehow, it sparked something much bigger than simply finding a new drink.
It sparked curiosity.
I wanted to discover more.
What makes one matcha different from another?
What other teas and wellness ingredients exist around the world?
What have different cultures been drinking for centuries?
And how could these authentic traditions become part of our modern everyday rituals?
That curiosity became the foundation of 17BLENDS.
I didn’t want to simply create another tea label.
I wanted to build a brand that makes people curious about what they’re drinking — where it comes from, how it tastes, what makes it special, and how it can become a meaningful part of their everyday ritual.
From the ancient tea traditions of different cultures to the modern way we live today, I want 17BLENDS to bridge the two — bringing authentic flavours, ingredients and wellness-inspired rituals from around the world to your table, without leaving their stories behind.
Because I believe the old and the new don’t have to compete.
We can honour where these traditions began while giving them a place in the rituals of today.
What started with one number, one idea and one love for tea is now becoming 17BLENDS.

At 17BLENDS, we believe a great cup begins at its origin. Our journey into Japanese tea led us to Kagoshima, Japan, where generations of tea craftsmanship shape the character of every leaf.
